Living in Ancoats

Ancoats homes are close to city centre shopping, and not far from the central retail park where there are large electrical, household, toy and sports stores.

The bars and restaurants of the Northern Quarter are just over Great Ancoats Street. The vibrant city centre, with its shops, entertainment and leisure facilities is within walking distance from Ancoats, or a few minutes journey on one of the regular buses through the area.

Surrounding areas are benefiting from multi-million pound projects that have converted old mill buildings into apartments, offices and other uses.

Ancoats includes historic Victoria Square, a block of retirement apartments around a pleasant courtyard offering independence and support for older people.
