Harpurhey Central

Harpurhey Central is on Rochdale Road just over two miles north of the city centre. Rochdale Road is a major route from Manchester to the north and the M60 motorway. See rehousing area map (pdf).

Living in Harpurhey Central

All homes are within walking distance of the North City Centre complex. As well as smaller shops, there's a large Asda store, a covered market, post office, medical centre, police station, library and sixth form college. There are modern Sure Start facilities for families with young children, a leisure and fitness centre, and a modern swimming pool.

There are frequent buses run along Rochdale Road from Manchester to Middleton and Rochdale. The vibrant city centre, with its shops, entertainment and leisure facilities is just a few minutes journey.

Most homes are close to the job and training opportunities at Central Manchester Business park. Boggart Hole Clough, one of Manchester's largest parks, is less than a mile up Rochdale Road.
